Earth Prints and Insects

One of my favorite lurking spots on 1000 Markets is Earth Prints. I have a longstanding fascination with all things natural history and paper, and these wonderfully quirky Natural History Fanciful Insect Note Cards from Earth Prints keep me lurking devotedly. There are four different fanciful insects in this set of note cards. Shown is the walking stick with its very Alice-Through-The-Looking-Glass whimsical checkerboard wings.

The Oriental Butterflies Note Cards are elegantly framed with origami paper patterns, and the sakura cherry blossoms are the perfect accent for the black and white butterflies.

Peony Birds

Beautiful songbirds and botanical pink peonies  are harbingers of Spring in my latest digital collage, which I've printed and decoupaged onto a wood plaque that I distress painted in a gorgeous turquoise. Elements of this collage are from Land of Enchantment, FrenchKissed, Vintage Printable, and Cemerony-Share.
